You’ll find all the recipes on my blog listed below by category. Some will appear under multiple headings if appropriate. Mung Bean Soup, for example, appears in both “Soups” and “Lentils & Beans.” A handful of these recipes are my own original creations, but many are merely my adaptations of other recipes to suit my nutritional needs and preferences. I do my best to provide links to the original recipe when possible, or otherwise give credit where credit is due. The purpose of this page is not to promote myself as a culinary genius (as if!), but rather to share the recipes that help me feed my husband and myself healthfully.
If you would like to use one of my personal recipes on your blog, feel free to do so. I only ask that you attribute the original recipe to me (Alison @ Wholesome Goodness) and provide a link to my blog.
Unless specifically noted otherwise, all recipes are gluten-free, and many are are either dairy-free or easily adapted to be so (by substituting coconut oil for butter, for example). A recipe designated as “sugar free” will never, ever contain an artificial sweetener like sucralose (Splenda) or aspartame (Sweet n Low). Stevia is my sweetener of choice, though if you can tolerate sugar, feel free to substitute raw, local honey, Rapadura, Sucanat, or maple syrup.
Please drop me a note if you run into any problems with the links.
Enjoy!

I am looking for a vegan molasses cake. I have searched everywhere. Thanks again
Sharon,
Since I am allergic to gluten and don’t bake much, I’m afraid I don’t have any personal experiences with vegan molasses cakes. I did perform a quick search for you, though, to give you some leads. Check out these links and see if they’re what you’re looking for:

Hope this helps. Thanks for stopping by. Happy baking!
Hi Allison:
As a health and wellness blogger who has featured Greek yogurts in the past, I think you would be interested in learning about Chobani Greek Yogurt who has recently launched two new flavors: Pomegranate (non-fat) and Pineapple (low-fat). It’s gluten-free, all natural, full of protein, and high in calcium. Chobani can fit into anyone’s diet as a flavorful and filling breakfast or as healthy ingredient alternative in a recipe (which would be fabulous for your site!) at approximately 140 calories per 6 ounce cup. I’m reaching out to offer you an exclusive preview and taste test.
Like all of Chobani’s rich and creamy Greek Yogurts, our new flavors are:
•All-natural – no refined sugar, artificial sweeteners, preservatives, or hormone-treated milk.
•Packed with protein – 2x more protein than any other yogurts (34% of your daily value).
•Made with 5 live and active cultures, including 3 different strains of health-promoting probiotics.
•High in calcium, providing 20% of your daily requirement.
•Made with only the highest quality REAL fruit – whole pomegranate seeds and chunks of pineapple – lightly sweetened with evaporated cane juice.
If you are interested in this exclusive preview, I would like to send you samples for you to share with your friends, family and/or co-workers. Please send me your address and I will have samples delivered to you ASAP. I would also love to discuss the idea of giveaways with your readers, or exclusive recipes using the Chobani yogurt.
Chobani is available nationally for MSRP $1.59/6oz cup at Whole Foods and regional supermarkets across the country. Check out http://www.chobani.com for more info.
Let me know when you have a moment- Cheers, Morgan
Hi Alison,
Just came across your site and just started a gluten free diet 10 days age. Thanks for the site this rocks! Can’t wait to try some of the recipes.

Dr. William Campbell Douglas III states in his newsletter that detailed recipes and directions, including step-by-step photos for saurkraut can be found on your website. I cannot find this.
I too would like to get some of the detailed recipes and directions for fermented foods as stated in an article by Dr. William Campbell Douglas III, in his Feb. 2010 newsletter.
I would like to learn how to make yogurt from scratch. Dr, William Campbell Douglass mentioned you in his monthly newsletter. Looking forward hearing from you.
Thank you
